CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) — During the summer, some kids spend their time off working in the food and beverage industry.

This summer, Dorchester District Two’s Educational Foundation is starting a culinary ambassadors program with Taco Boy.

They are hoping to give their students real workforce experience, to help them find what they want to do when they graduate high school.

“I’ve always loved cooking and everything. Then this year, I was in culinary with Chef Huss, and he pushed me into doing something I love all the time,” said Madison Carson, an incoming senior at DD2, and a culinary ambassador.
